Crack the egg and pour the yolk back and forth from on half of the shell to the other (over a bowl, of course) until all of the egg whites have run out. It takes a bit of finesse, but that's the way I was taught.

Wash your hands well and crack your egg into your hand..... transfer gently from one hand to the other...very gently..... it will seperate into a bowl underneath. you will be left with only the yolk.....hopefully unbroken. this works as well as any high priced gadget when you get the hang of it. use the eggs in any recipe that calls for eggs just use double the egg whites or add a shot of milk for the lost yolk....and FYI save the yolks beaten up to 3 days as a facial mask for acne....asian woman have used it for centuries and they have the best skin. have an egg-selent time lol.

I agree.. Personally, I hate eggs. My father ruined me as a kid. He never cooked them completely and got mad if I didn't eat them. To this day.. I can only eat them at a cafeteria etc. .which I seldom do.. Even egg beaters taste awful.. I'll do a whey protein instead. I cook my kids eggs. They love egg whites etc.. Good luck with your training.

You can purchase eggwhites in a carton. I do.
Scramble them and everything. I put a little mustard
in them because I can't get over the white scrambled look.
