you cannot legally donate even tho yourheart is in right place .No one has the right to dispense drugs expcept a dr adn pharmacist. I work as a pharmacist technichian and when people get the wrong one we have to throw them away .. as.. no one knows if you have tampered with them so theres your answer. so toss them.. if you have allergies.. i suggest natural ways at gnc homeopathic alternatives. they have tinctures for each kind of allergy .. a homeopathic chiropractor can tell you if your allergic to mold spores tree molds down feathers etc then the rigth application can eb prescriberd to you as most allergy drs just give singulair advair claritan etc fro the most common allergies. your maybe be seasonal or isolated or food related. I am also a reiki practioner and studied homeopathic medicine.go to gnc and read their common book to see what you need.

Very admirable intentions, such goodness is so lacking in todays society of flip this house and pimp my ride that the simple gifts get plowed under by bureaucratic nonsense. Consult with the local clinics and retirement homes and ask a resident Dr. or LPN if they have any need for them. I do not think it is legal according to the FDA but it is at least worth asking a Practicing Physician about.

Old, outdated or meds no longer used should not be tossed. Take them back to the pharmacy for proper disposal. The meds that are being flushed or tossed into land fill find its way into the water table and end up in the rivers and now everyone is getting some of your "tossed" meds and I DO NOT WANT IT.....

If they didn't work for you, then you should flush them away. Giving drugs, even prescribed ones, to anyone else is dangerous as you don't know for sure how they will effect the person. It is also illegal, for you to give them, and the other person to have prescription drugs, belonging to someone else.

Most pharmacies offer the courtesy service to destroy expired or unused medications. This include over-the-counter drugs and prescription medicines.
To make it easier for your pharmacist. You may want to unpack them and put them in one container.
For safety reason. Returned drugs cannot be reused.

In general, it is not advisable to let others take a medication unless reviewed by a doctor. However one can seek the opinion of a pharmacist if a person can take the medication you mentioned.

if they come in unbreakable packages, that you have not yet opened...say you got a 3 mos supply, and only used one month and have two unopened packages left, rarely a pharmacy will take them back...they normally wont though...they will typically tell you to destroy them, because even though they arent a controlled substance or anything bad, its a script for you. and if you give them to someone and they react to it and die...its on you..that is why doctors are insured. i wouldnt suggest giving them to anyone..see if the pharmacy will take them back and return them to stock, or throw them out.

I know you mean well, but sharing prescription medications is not legal.
If you can't use them, it's best to destroy them.
