because calling the guy makes us feel like we have to do everything. like the damn sadie hawkins dance. if a guy wants to woo a girl just call her up and ask her to the movies with some friends. it will work. plus calling the guy is mega wierd because the girl is nervous about saying somthing stupid to the guy they like

Because it's one of the perks of being a girl to get to be the one phoned :) It's nerve wracking waiting by the phone but it beats the nerves it takes to call someone. Also for a girl crushes are half the fun, will he/won't he call is part of the game.

girls dont phoned guys unless its something very importantm like shes moveing or dyeing. but guys always suppose to phone girls always no matter what. and if a girls phones a guy she is creepy

Married now, but when I was in middle school/high school/college, I would not call the guy first. I believe that if a guy really likes you, he'll make a move. Plus, I didn't want a wimpy guy who was to afraid or too "macho" to tell me that he cared for me. If a guy didn't like me enough to make the first move, he wasn't worth my time.

yea because i am to nervous that he dont wanna talk to me or that i might get stuck talking to some one else around or if there is another girl there believe me there are manyyyy of reasons!

well, i don't call him cause my dad has his number, not me, and i would have to use his cell. i really don't want to do that
