I have a BMX which is black but Im putting some blue on it and I want my pegs blue but I cant seem to find any so I thought Id try and spray them, whats the best way to do this do I need to sand, prime, coat then varnish? What do you reccomend?

get it powder-coated mate. it is the only way to get a great result.

Just had a thought. Get them anodised!! This will last loads longer than any paint and will be cooler. shop around for companies that anodise.send the pegs to them and they will come back all shiny and blue.

I wouldn't bother trying to paint the pegs. The paint would come off as soon as you looked at it the wrong way and look tatty as hell. Powder coat is probably the best coating but that will still come off if you do any grinding on the pegs.

Either get some friends to help hold him down, or wait til he's not looking. Either way you are asking for trouble. The last guy that sprayed Cro-mo is still in hospital.
