The text of
Pacen in Terris
Encyclical of Pope John XXIII on Establishing Universal Peace in Truth, Justice, Charity, and Liberty
given at Rome, at St. Peter's, on Holy Thursday, the eleventh day of April, in the year 1963
can be found here: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_xxiii/encyclicals/documents/hf_j-xxiii_enc_11041963_pacem_en.html
The encyclical starts:
Peace on Earth which man throughout the ages has so longed for and sought after ...
This single thought (and the rest of the document) definitely has relevance today as all people of good will endeavor to bring about peace on Earth.
With love in Christ.

It would have helped for you to post a link. Peace on/in Earth is ALWAYS relevant, don't you think?
In "Pacem In Teris", an Encyclical promulgated by Pope John XXIII, on the establishment of peace, justice, charity, and liberty, the mind of Christ can be seen working through the Church. Order in human beings revealed by conscience through the infinite wisdom of God, order between men, man's rights, economic rights, the right of meeting and association, reciprocity of rights and duties between persons, attitudes of responsibility, social life in truth, charity and freedom can be found in the teachings of the Church. In "Laborem Exercen", an Encyclical promulgated by Pope John Paul II, there exists the magnificent teaching regarding the rights of the formation of labor unions and associations. The Pope states that they are the mouthpiece for the struggle for social justice!
