the best way to find a friend or a companion or a spouse is to go out and meet as much persons as you can. build your network of friends. you'll be surprised to know that there are people you still don't know in your town. or people that you know may know of persons or have relatives you haven't met yet. socialize but be careful to befriend good persons only.

I'm 63, and my wife died 3 yrs ago. I never knew the world like this i see around me. we met when we were 14yrs old, and been together 45 yrs.I know what love was and is for me and my wife, the biggest thing i noticed is, people want to have sex then fall in love later, it never works.we were kids, and best friends till we got married at 19 yrs old.all i can say is wow what a ride lol.probably the best source you can get answers from is www.fhu.com foundation of human understanding. its so different that it takes a little to get understanding, but worth a visit.my favorite phrases are " you can't solve a problem till you understand it" and just because people are different doesn't mean there wrong, it just means there, just different." this way you don't end up hating anyone, you just have to decide if you can put up with there differences.good luck, let me know if it helps

I would find something you really like doing and go do it, keep your eyes open for single doing the same things, I would always suggest church, volunteer at hospitals or red cross in order to increase your exposure to men. Look online for community events that you can get involved with and meet others at. You can talk to friends and co-workers about your desire to meet someone, maybe they know a guy just right for you but never gave it any thought before. I have tried many of the online, newspaper ads, video dating and even tried that show "love connection"...not much honesty and less common sense involved there!

Sorry to disappoint, but, if until now you have not found a good man in your town, you should move somewhere else or change your visions.
