I have a daewoo freeview box and the remote has locked does anybody know now to unlock it?

i dont have the instruction manual so i cant find out from that

JUST REPLACE THE BATTERIES

Clean the battery connections in the remote as the remote cannot lock out by default.

change the batteries

Also, it might have dual controls so it can control a DVD player as well as the freeview box.

see if there is a switch or button marked TV and DVD. try pressing the TV button and see if that does the trick
