Going into NYC this afternoon any suggestions?

We are going to eat lunch at ESPN Zone and roam around, my daughter and her husband have tickets for the OAR concert so we'll do dinner then leave them. Where should we do dinner? or any special things we should see?

If you stay in the Times Square area, there are loads of restaurants, but usually the same chains you find all over the country. Go a few blocks west to Hells Kitchen on 9th Ave where's there's ethnic food from all over the world at pretty decent prices (was there last night for Indonesian food).

Ignore the other post about how dangerous it is...do have common sense, be aware of your belongings...but NYC is pretty safe these days, and Grand Central is not a ghetto.

Don't sleep at the chelsea,don't stay out late on 42nd street,don't take to anybody,give a few bums a dollar when you see them,make sure you buy a beef kaboob with some bar-b-que suace on it.and go to the bootlegger on 28th street and buy all the latest fashions for a very cheap price.brake your money down some in your panty, some in your bra,some in your sock,some in all your pants pockets,and stuff some under your husbands tupay.yuck please don't let your child drink from any water fountains you see,and don't give out any directions please cuase when people like you come to our city you just make things more kaotic,all three of you hold hands no matter what don't let go there will be a rush of people every train station you walk by,and please don't go into grand central station you will feel like you have entered another world you know like the ghetto.so just stay outside and just stick together follow my rules and you will be fine,oh yea and keep your eyes open don't blink if you feel you need to blink you and your family should take turns blinking cuase you will get robbed.and don't use any pulblic bathroom becuase you will pee yourself standing in line so pee before you leave.
