It depends!! The answer is definetly not always yes. The important point is were on/in the body did you recieve your radiation. Certain internal organs can receive very low radiation doses. For example, if you had head and neck cancer you only get radiation once and then your only option is surgery.

Yes you can. My husband had radiation. It came back, had more radiation in the same area.(his brain). However some cancers need other treatment options.

We were told that if my son were to relapse he could not have radiation again. That they can only use it once per type of cancer. Check with your radiation oncologist about this. And let me know what they say.

I was told that I couldn't have it in the same area again, but mine was for breast cancer. I know the concern there is that part of the lungs and heart get zapped.

Don't know, but you can try emu oil gel caps they are alot safer. Emu oil kills cancer cells. One should always consult their doctor before trying anything new. good luck sir
