If you are receiving disability payments from the Federal government (SSI or SSD) or a private plan there should be no change. Just make sure that your address is up-to-date.

If you are receiving state disability that may stop if you move out-of-state. Consult with the state office that pays you your disability.

there is no problem moving out of state if it is ssi or ssd you just need to make sure you call in the new address before the 15th tomake sure the check is delivered to the right place next month also if it is ssd you will want to check with them by calling 8007721213 to check on if the cost of living will go up in the new state another idea would be to open direct deposit, that way the mail doesnt get lost in the move.you can do this by calling in thhe account information to the number above by the 15th of the month also.this number is usable from 7 am to midnight monday thru sat.hope this helps

I belive it is based on the cost of living idex for where you live so the odds are that it will change but it should pretty much work out the same in the long run

if its ssi, its federal and should move with them from state to state, if its from a corporate they would have to change with that company or the firm handling the case, but it should transfer too
