Why do you keep asking the same question over and over again? Next time she misbehaves, warn her that if she continues to misbehave, she will take a timeout WITHOUT her pacifier or her doll. If she continues to misbehave take her paci and her doll put them away and put her in her timeout. Ignore her cries and when her time is done give her the paci and the doll and explain again that when she misbehaves she will have to take her timeout with out those comfort objects.
Now, I know from your previous questions, that you also want her to stop having a doll and pacifier all together. Let her keep the doll as that is normal, but you may want get rid of the pacifier. The best way is to tell her about the Pacifier Fairy who visits little kids who have gotten too old for their pacifier and how she takes the pacifier and replaces it with a toy. Talk it up very excitedly and then take her to a store so she can tell you what toy she wishes the fairy to bring (If you let her pick it out, she will feel more in control and this will make it easier for both of you) Of course, don't buy the toy in front of her. Buy it later and then do the switch some night. She may still get upset but she will feel better than if you take it away as a punishment.

there is no way i would let a kid take a pacifier to time out!!, Time out is because they did something wrong, a pacifier is comfort, the two dont mix. And if your child is old enough to have time out then why are you giving her a pacifier? those are for little babies, at the most.

well......
so your kids still are attached to the pacifiers. this is not good, my daughter had this same problem as achild and it ended up giving her a cross bite on the left side of her mouth on two teeth. well she sucked the pacifier on the left side when he teeth were growing so she had to get braces and just recently had surgery to fix the problem. this is not somthing you would want your children to go through. i was watching supernanny and jojo suggjested that you tell the children that the pacifiers need to go to the others babies in the world or in heaven. somthing like that so she tied a balloon to the pacifiers and then gave them like candy or any type of reward. another one is she said that the pacifier fairy is running out of pacifiers to give to little babies so they had te children tie sparkly string to the pacifiers and hang them in a tree. she said that over night the pacifier fairy will come and get them and leave them money the next morning. so they hung it in the tree and that night the mom went and got the pacifiers and threw them in the trash and left a teddy bear and candy, so if you want to go this way you can reward them with whatever you want. hope this works.

You want to get your kid makeup instead of her using a pacifier???? If she's a teenager and your still sending her to time out and she wont let go of her pacifier- then there's something wrong and she needs counseling right away.

don't let her take anything to the time out chair.

If they are old enough to understand the concept of time out, it is time to get rid of the pacifier. Just throw them all away. It will take 2-3 days for your child to get over it. But they will.

ok well a pacifier comforts them when she is in timeout she is verry upset so dont worry about that, but kickn the pacifier habit is tuff we just went thru that you can tell her she can pick out anything she wants at the store if she throws away her pacifier in the garbage! within price range of course!

how old is she that she has a pacifier in the first palce? does she use it at other times as well? pacifiers should really be stopped around a year or a year and a half old to avoid damage to the teeth.

She shouldn't have the pacifier in time out. It's not "comfort time" it's "think about what you did wrong" time.

Your kid has both a pacifer and makeup?

A time out is a punishment she shouldn't take anything but herself to the naughty chair.
