would you like to see your free and democratic western lands converted in to barberic muslim lands where no one has any freedom? if the answer is no,
then why do you keep apologising to muslims and islam?
(by the way i am not a westerner and i dont live in a western country)

There are good and bad followers of all religions. It's just that the bad among Muslims are constantly in the news and are doing EXTREMELY bad things.
There is no excuse for those misguided people who apologize for the truly bad stuff done in the name of Islam.
But the US is not going to be converted to sharia law. The issue is whether those who hate the Western way of life will make terrorist acts a common experience in this country, as it already is in Middle Eastern countries. We have work to do to make sure that doesn't happen.

Apologists?? hmmm...
No matter what religion, you are gonna find good people and bad. Americans know that. We have phanatical Christians here as well as good ones. Its just the nature of man - good and bad.
The same is true for Islam. You have good folks, and then there are some who want to blow up our buildings. I have no apology for them - I want them captured and killed. period.
But to those others who are not trying to blow us up - they are practicing their religion in peace - Its only civil to tell them that we are sorry that they have to be in the middle of something really ugly. Thats why. We are not out to kill off every muslim because of what they believe.
As far as America ever turning into a "barberic" land. Won't happen, friend. This is a free Christian nation under God and it will remain that way right up until the return of Christ.

Islam is not barbaric. I don't know where you are from but I don't believe that you are ex muslim.
The Muslim people that I have met have been absolutely wonderful people. They care for their family and others moreso than many christians that I have met. They show respect and have a positive attitude to whatever they do. They are, without exception, some of the nicest people I have met

well it's good for us that u're not westerner n u dont live in any western country...
why dont u have some respect...so many non-muslim from different religions have respect for the islamic religion and people...those r civilized people and the uncivilized one is u...

I think we should have freedom to choose our religion, but I don't think we should change our culture so as to not offend any religion...especially Islam. You want Islamic culture? go East. We are a western civilization, and we like it that way.

I don't apologize to anyone. If you want to blow me up or think you can force me to live sharia law you are my enemy, and I don't apologize for that now, or ever.
It is really only the academic old liberal who does so. This creature, in no way represnts the majority of real thinking people in the west. Just some nerd talking nonsense to keep his/her inflated, overpaid tenure another few years. Nothing more.

Knock it off. Getting sick of the hatred spewing out ever since 9/11. The world isn't going to become Muslim and its time people grew up instead of wanting to fight with every single person on the planet.
