I had my second daughter just over five months ago during a regular delivery. I have recovered okay, except my stomach feels quite tender at times. It feels as if things didn't go back to how they were supposed to inside of me, sometimes it feels as if everything is going to come out (uterus, etc). I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this with my first, is this normal for women who have had more than one baby? I have mentioned it to my doctor, who tested or infections (which I don't have), and am seeing her again soon.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have the same thing a feeling like something is going to drop out. I kept telling my dr and finally figured out I had a prolapsed uterus from my preg. I was big and carried my baby sideways resulting an emergency csection. there are a few options that can correct it. Just keep talking to your dr and don't stop telling him what you are feeling and tell him you know your body and you know something is not rite! be persistant!

I had this for the first 6 months after I gave birth. My deliver was a rough one and that's why my doc said I was having problems. My son was born 9 1/2 lbs 21 1/2 inches during a regular delivery. I had no problems getting him out, but once he was out the pain started.

Also, I tore in 4 places (2 inside and 2 outside). I had to have my area completely stiched up. When I first stood up I grabbed my lower abdomen and thought everything was falling out. That's how it was for a few months and it slowly got better.

It also didn't help that I was given pitocen and a cathetar. My home nurse said this also made my delivery harder to recover from. I also had other problems that I wont' go into here (not appropriate for the question).

But, it's possible this delivery was harder on you than the first. It may just take some extra time for your to recover fully. In the meantime have your hubby help you as much as possible. My mom was a peach she came over cooked and cleaned for me.

I hope you get better soon!
