How do I tell my mom that i have a BF? And how do I explain the fact that I've had one since I was in grade 9?

just say "I have a BF"... of course, it depends if you are a guy or a girl as to how she'll react.. :D

I might ease into the situation by checking out her reaction to some questions. First, I'd ask her how she would feel IF I had a boyfriend. Then, I'd ask if she'd feel more comfortable with it if she could meet him. Establish an open dialog with her first. Then, tell her you have a boyfriend. Mothers end up finding things out, anyway, so it's best if she hears it from you.

Just tell her "mom, I have a BF". If you are a guy, you may want to wait until you don't live with her anymore.

Your mom probably has a boy friend too! Your mom might be hiding things from you. Sometimes mom's aren't the saints you think they are or they pretend to be around their kids.

lie about 9 grade just tell her that she is the most beautiful girl in your school and and tell her that every one wants her but she started talking to YOU and no one else

If you think she'll be upset about it then just write her a letter, put it sumwhere she'll find it. After she reads a letter she'll have a chance to clear her thoughts befor she comes to talk to you. This really helps to avoid a heated convo. with you're mom!
