Teasing the hair is not combing the hair as it should be,
It is another name for back combing.
You take a strand of hair, hold it up and com from top to scalp. It becomes rough and fluffs up.
Put it down on scalp. Looks higher. Pouffé.

owh u got the same hair as me <3 well to answer ur question to tease your hair is to kinda mess it up a bit and back comb. The best way to tease your hair is to brush your hair in the opposite dirrection. tip: using a brush will minimize the damage to your hair compared to a comb.

Teasing your hair refers to back combing the hair. It gets really knotty and stays in place. It was very popular years ago in the sixties, I assume it is gaining some momemntum now. It was cool, but don't use to much hairspray.

I was'nt sure of the word tease thats to do with hair styles...I looked in the dictionary and it said something about combing wool into separate strands. Maybe it refers to style your hair to the best way it suits you.

You are English?? Last line of your question does not give that impression. Teasing hair is another word for backcombing it (if you know what that is).

To tease your hair means to style it, kind of play around with it, or brush it.

When you tease your hair, you gently backcomb it, so as to give it more volume or hold.
