Don't really know ,but do you smell gasoline? I had a much older car, Ford, that used to vapor lock. The smell of gas was real strong. I'd put a wet rag on the fuel pump for 20 min or so and then it would start up again. Was a great way to meet guys.. stand there, looking helpless by the raised hood... then when had enough, get the rag and jar of water out and oh my! be on our way again.....ok, ok, so it WAS 1949 ford...want to bet I could lay a patch of rubber with it? No one else did either.. won some gas money..ok again ..it was in reverse! Those were the days! no, the 60's NOT the 4o's....(sorry.. your problem again.. good luck with that!) I'm hoping my next '60's will be fun also!! Oh, but the old do ramble on and on....
