Learn Planchet. But I would suggest you not to disturb spirits as all spirits may not be good. In Hindu Tantrik system, you can do all things of such type. But Tantrik gains are temporary and may be harmful at the end of life. Tantrik Siddhi (gain of power) are afterall obstacles to your advancement in spirituality. My friend, forget the idea of all these and pray God with a clean heart for peace to everyone.

I have a tough enough time speaking to those that are living. Why would I want to speak to the dead?

what we call dreams...in those dreams u can communicate with dead...atleast for sometime till the soul is reborn.
just as we don't see in the night what is around us in the day time unless we have a light,
in the same way the dead r near us for sometime till the soul is reborn. but because of the difference in the wavelength or the medium in which they exist we don't see them or hear them nor can we contact them.
but in sleep our soul establishes a contact with those departed souls and we communicate and we see them as if they r alive.
and we wake up and think that it is a dream. but may be it isn't a dream after all?
read this book by leadbetter - 'life after death' - it is interesting.

Just talk to them. They may answer you, they may not. DON'T use the Ouija board. It opens the door to the Otherworld and you can't control what comes through. Not all spirits are nice.

Simple. Walk up to someone who is not a Christian and start speaking. Unless a person is born again, their spirit is dead.
