Most of modern day Humans Rights actually stems from Islam where Muhammed introduced rights of everyone including those who are caught in times of war.
Rights of women - to own property and be legally recognised
Brought the first written constiution into being allowing freedoms for all.
At time of Muhammed he said all who have a faith are free to practice that faith be it Christianity or Judaism without fear or hindrance. Yet in Christian Europe it was the 'Dark Ages' with different Christian groups killing each other in the name of the true
God only 'there version of Christianity brought'.
Islam brought many other wonderful inventions without which life in 2007 would be very difficult.

Remember all religions have people how kill in the name of God.
Look at Christian History.

Yet Christian Europe only brought these rights into being in the 20th Century.

4/157 And for claiming that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of GOD. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him-they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him.

This passage from the Koran states that Jesus was not crucified, and not resurrected. It attempts to invalidate the entire ministry of Jesus.

When you are told that Allah and the Christian God Yahweh are the same, don't you believe it.

So, who is Allah? Mr. Rushdie got it right when he titled his book Satanic Verses.

I'm a Christian, and I have no problem with Islam. The reason is that the Word of God says that people around the world will have lots of different belief mechanisms, and come from different backgrounds. Because of this, other people will have a different path to God, perhaps, but still I am to rejoice in the fact that the path is being walked by others.
The Scriptures does not condemn other religions - people in their ignorance do. When Christ returns, there will be a 1000 year period of teaching and disipline (both badly needed today, for sure) and during that time all of us will learn the truth. This is not some kind of second chance given by God, its just that God knows that with alot of what is being taught out there, most people don't have a first chance to learn truth. Not separate religions, just God and His truth.
Know what? I think its not that people don't like Islam, its that people are wary of anyone practicing Islam for obvious reasons, like that buildings were crashed into by airplanes in the middle of New York City - that tends to put a sour taste in ones mouth.

Peace!
I am a Christian but I do not have any problems with Islam.
I think the problem with the Islamic religion is the absence of a central authority. The Organization of Islamic Countries is a good step in that direction but as of now it does not have the power to enforce its authority on all Muslims.

Christians are polytheists and Islam is worship of The One True God (John 17:3).

Muslims worship Allah, the One True God, while Christians worship the father and the son and the holy ghost of Trinitheism.

The Quran confirms that Christ WAS NOT CRUCIFIED and the BIble fully agrees with the Quran as it submits to genuine Scripture and shows within its books that Two Thieves were crucified on the Sabbath in Jerusalem on crosses that identified them both as "JESUS KING OF THE JEWS", and the Christ was declared innocent and was set free by two Roman Governors.

Christians are unable to see the truth and the trick of the Bible because they are blinded by their leaders who are described in the Bible as wolves in sheep's clothing.

The Age Of Reason is a must-read for all Christians and all Muslims and it is available at the bookstore at www.xlibris.com.

The Age Of Reason (www.xlibris.com) exposes the secrets of the Bible as it agrees with the Quran that CHRIST WAS NOT CRUCIFIED and that only two thieves named Jesus were crucified on the Sabbath, which is the reason today for the USA getting caught up in the war of the curse of the crucifixion of two thieves on the Sabbath in Jerusalem.

Christians have problems with their own Bible because they do not understand what the Bible is saying and the cannot and will not look into the words of the Bible with any sense of reason.

Humans by nature use religion as a reason or excuse to control/dislike/kill other humans that they don't agree with or like.

There is hardly a religion that exists to this day that doesn't have some sort of dilect in it that allows for distrust or dislike for other religions.

Tho the most accepting of religions I have seen are those that you hardly ever hear of. Simply because they don't push their beliefs and practices on others.

The religions that you DO hear alot of, it is because they try to push themselves into the lives of others. They try to get in other people's business. They try to control others with fear and hate.

Why? It is simple. Control = power. Power = money.

I see it in Christianity, and I see it in Islam. NONE of these religions have a human right to sling the crap they sling. It just needs to stop.

There are some that do. i accept islam as it is. Its almost like you need a get to know a moslem day ( I mean this nicely) because in talking to my muslim friends I have learned and watched by their actions they are wondeerful kind people it is personal choice that leads a person to be good or bad and not their religion. I read the qurran because it was given to me when I asked to read it I have not been preached to but my questions are answered an the exact sura is given in order that I might better understand where it comes from. I think we need to embrace all the cultures in order to live together.

They have been fed lies and propaganda by their pastors, priests and ministers who hate Islam and want to hide the truth about its nobleness and dignity.

Anyone who reads serious scholarly works on Muhammad and Islam can only come out with a positive picture of both and the great contributions that Islam has made to the world.

First off the crusaders were catholics and a true Christian should not mock anyone if they are followers of the Bible. The Bible VERY clearly states that if you bless Israel you will be blessed and if you curse Israel you will be cursed. And the distortion between Christians and Muslims comes NOT from the pope but straight from the devil himself. Satan always has a counter part to what ever God has since he wants to be like God.
