how do i make my pc detect my sony DCR-TRV330 via i-link, I mean iv'w been trying like forever!?

Go to a user group and play with the generic Windows driver.

This is a common problem that affects different camcorders and computer users with no rhyme or reason other than Microsoft's inability to write good software code.

More than likely you need a new cord for the camera.. I had the same problem with my sony cybershot dsc-w1 but once i got a new usb cable it worked fine. You can probably get the cord cheap off of Ebay just type in the model number of your camera and when the results pop up click on the accessories link..
