Nothing. Lock your door or hide in your corner and try to keep your mind off their fight. You can only talk to them separately about it later and try to help them sort out their problems and tall them that you feel miserable when they quarrel so much. If the fights are too big for you to feel comfortable around your parents, perhaps you can ask them to place you in a residential school or shift somewhere else, if you are independent.

Hi,
First of all remember that they are quarreling with the differences between them...not you. So please don't feel like you have anything to do with it.

If they are arguing and you are nearby perhaps you could go to another room such as your bedroom. When they are arguing they are not seeing what is going on around them - usually they are so caught up in their own argument.

Don't try to talk with them or ask questions during this time either. Make yourself scarce until things blow over.

And mostly, realize that parents are people too. It took me many years to realize that my own parents are as human and real as I.

Best of luck!

Let your parents settle their disputes. If it begins when you are present, excuse yourself and let both of them know that you want to speak to them later. When the quarrel is over, speak to each of them and express how it makes you feel when they do quarrel.

Watch the tamasha free of cost. If possible try to provoke them into a scuffle or a small fight. And take lessons on how to quarrel with your spouse.

Walk out of the house. or tell them to do it nicely in a room or attick. If you are mature enough, be a mediator and show them a point each of them missing.

If you are old enough, walk out of the house and make your own living. You don't have to go through it every day.

Nothing works and they keep doing it again and again, call a lawyer, ask him to come with divorce papers prepared and TELL your parents to sign on the spot. You also tell them that as you are something half of him and half of her, you make the decision without bias and resolve the issue forever.

Good luck.

When they quarrel, go out and spend some time with your friends. You should not spoil your time and mood for that ever irresponsible they are doing. Enjoy Yourself.

To come to the realization that you'r not responsible for your parent actions. To try to open their eyes to see the emotional effect the incident may be to the individual that had been a witness of such actions and last off if they fail to compromise don't feel guilty of it, be sincerely content that you tried within all your heart to come to a conclusion that is compromising. so try not to stress or put guilt on yourself on situations that you know you have no power or control in regards of the out come. Good luck

Call Dr.Phil!!!!
:)
They shouldn't do it in front of you anyway. thats not fair. Sit down with your mum (or dad) and explain how it makes YOU feel when they argue. A lot of parents don't even realize the effect it is having - you need to speak up. If they don't listen, go see your school counsellor or doctor - thats what their there for.
Good Luck.
