Of course, because God doesn't exist.
However, people are so emotionally bonded to their religion that they'll make up things that God supposedly did for them. Even when they didn't get what they asked for, they'll rationalized that God just said "no" and that's probably what's best in the long run.
One prime example of this is when someone says they survived a huricane or something because they prayed to God and praise him for being so merciful, even if the same huricane swept away the rest of their family and neighbors. If someone prays for the sick and they die, they say that "God needed her to go with him" or "God tests us". Of course, if they pray and the person happens to live, "It's a miracle!".

Did you know that having faith in God means that he won't let you down? That's what having faith MEANS!!! No matter what happens in my life I will ALWAYS have faith in Him and believe in the path that He has set before me.

I say you are very wrong,God is always faithful and cannot be otherwise, many times we ask something of God in a shopping mentality,God give me this or that and we forget that He knows exactly what the consequences would be if we got what we wanted, also God is Creator and has the royal right to say no,
He is not our slave to do our bidding, but you can be assured that if you do not get what you ask for then God has a very good reason for it.

Lets answer some questions about ourselves before we answer this question.
1.Have we treated all (realy all) people we had contact with during our life fairly and openly?
2.Have we used little white lies during our lifes?
3.Have we cheated people for any given reason?
4.Have we been treated by all people we had cotnact with during our life faily and openly?
5.Have people lied to us during our life?
6.Have people cheated on us for different reasons?
If you answer NO to1 or 4 - or Yes for one of the others, that would mean that we might not deserve to have our prayers answered - yet.
Maybe if we openly admitt to our faults in our prayers, god might start listening to us. Is it not said in most religions that we should treat people as we want to be treated? Then why should god treat us differently to the way we treat others?
I dont think that god is about receiving - its more about given what you want to receive.
Because maybe - just maybe the saying is true:
What goes around comes around.
So start sending out what you want to receive and you just might not need your prayers answered because the person next to has already
did.

This is very untrue,
i faced two really BIG problems in my life, and when i tried everything, and i failed, i had to ask God for help, for he has created me and he can do anything and change whatever, i cried so much to God, i only talked to him about my problems, and when i was truly honest i got my help in an amazing way, suddenly everything was going the opposite way and everything was just fine then, and even better!..
i really LOVE God, he really answers when u mean to call him, not just try.

Is this a question or a conclusion?!!
If you rephrase your question, I will answer you, but if you leave like that, it is not worthy of being answered, because it only means that either you are frustrated as your prayers came unanswered or you do not believe in God by any means in the first place.

You all always try to di-pove God, You are 37 yrs. too late for me, & since you always try to use God as a Crutch to help your so called ideals along, Kind of shows me that you may be a DEAD BEAT DAD & don't support you kids. & if you don't have any kids, I am sure you have doll to play with.
