Probably between 2BC and 3BC, although it could have been anywhere between between 6BC and 6AD.
The BC\AD system was devised in the 6th Century by a Monk named Dionysius Exiguus, who miscalculated the death of Herod by four years and so the confusion surrounding Jesus's birth has been going on for a long time.

2 BC. Most people say "6 BC," but that is based on the assumption that Herod the Great died in 4 BC. New astronomical evidence supports the view that Herod died in 1 BC, making the Gospel of Luke (and most of the Church Fathers) correct in advocating late 2 BC/early 1BC as the year of Christ's birth.

Jesus was most likely not a real person. Sorry. There is very little in the bible that can actually be proven as correct.
