The sources for the Muslim Jesus can be traced to the influences in Mohammad’s Arabia. Arabia became the refuge for people escaping the oppression of Byzantium and Persia. Many of the heretical movements fled to Arabia, taking with them their books and teachings. Among these heretical groups, are the Gnostics and Manicheans.

We can also see Infancy Gospel of Thomas, another heretical work which made its way into the Quran and was translated into Arabic. In this “false gospel” account, Jesus is seen creating clay birds and bringing them to life. In this same work, Jesus turns a child into a “Withered Tree” and calls him an “impious ignoramus”. Later Jesus kills a child who accidentally bumps him in the shoulder. This book is a false work written about 150 A.D., claiming to be written by Thomas the Israelite. The account of the birds creation, has found its way into the Quran.

In addition to these false works we can also the Manichean influence in Islam, Mani (216-270 A.D.) a Persian painter and “Prophet” made many claims similar to Mohammad, but only 400 years earlier. Mani was an Eastern Gnostic, who combined Christian, Buddhist, Persian and Zoroastrian teachings into a belief system. His followers were persecuted in Persia and like the Nestorians and other heretical Christian groups, they fled into Arabia. These would then have an influence on Mohammad years later.

Mani (216-270 A.D.)
Called himself Apostle
Called himself “Last Prophet”
Salvation by obedience to his “System
Claimed continuous revelation
Claims Jesus spoke of him in John 14:16 “Paraclete”
Angelic messenger revealed message
Followers forbidden to drink wine

Mohammed (570-632 (A.D.)
Called himself Apostle
Called himself “Last Prophet”
Salvation by following Mohammad.
Claimed continuous revelation
“The Twin”Angel Gabriel revealed message.
Followers forbidden to drink wine.
Claims Jesus spoke of him in John 14:16 “Paraclete”

Muslims keep telling they believe in the Gospel of Jesus. What Gospel of Jesus would that be and if Allah gave them a new gospel in what Sura did he tell Mohammed which part has to be changed?

There are now more than 60 versions of the Bible(Different versions not translations The different versions of the Bible are not merely different translations, but are actually versions i.e. they add and remove things from other versions)

These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect

The Bible is a collection of writings by many different authors. The Qur'an is a dictation. The speaker in the Qur'an - in the first person - is God talking directly to man. In the Bible you have many men writing about God and you have in some places the word of God speaking to men and still in other places you have some men simply writing about history.

The previous scriptures were meant for a limited period (and a specific people) that ended with the revelation of what abrogated them and exposed what had taken place in them of distortion and change. That is why they were not protected from corruption

Jehovah or Brahma or Allah...in human languages, is the One True God Who gives the Holy Books to His successive Divine Messengers to teach mankind through various times in history. Formalities are different, but the essence is one and the same: the selfless love. He who selflessly loves all mankind is the believer of the One True God, regardless of the names he is bearing or being attributed to.

The Gospel we have has been preached continually from his Resurrection. It was written only when the Apostles who knew him, saw his death, and subsequently saw him rise again, wrote it down to share the good news with other believers.
