Just had one last week! I assume you mean colonoscopy?
Anyway, I have a family history of colon caner. Have to have it done every 5 years. The down side is that you have to drink yukky stuff the day before to cleanse everything. Then, when you go in for the test they start and IV & give you demerol so basically you'll never know if it hurts or not! You wake up feeling fine. On mine they found for the first time 6 pre cancerous polyps-they took them out right then. That was 6 good chances for cancer I just avoided!!!!! Do not be the slightest scared!

I think you mean colonoscopy??? I had one a couple of years ago and basically what they do is insert a tiny camera down your throat, through your digestive system and another one up the other end!! All of this is done under sedation so you won't feel a thing. The only part that really hurt for me was the cracking headache I got from not being allowed to drink any fluid at all from bedtime the night before to 9.00 a.m. the next day when I had the operation. You'll be right, mine was probably just lack of caffeine!!!

PEACE & LOVE & ALL THAT

Just had my 2nd one in 10 years. These type of medical procedures are not comfortable one. Usually a person is given a sedative to relax and in some cases sedated.

A device is inserted into your rectum and travels up through the bowels. It's a camera type device that enables the doctors to view your gut's in order to determine if there are any problems they need to address.

Colonoscopy's are not fun.

Colposcopy is a visual examination of the vagina using a scope made fro that purpose.

No, it's no more uncomforatble than a pap smear. It's a microscopic look at your vagina.
