I can't find anything at a local community collage but I'm looking into improving my back rub skills :)

How much do these types of classes go for and where would I find them?

Massage is a licensed profession. Thus, the prices have gone way up and one must enroll in a program in order to learn the technique.

Average cost for a program, and it takes about 9 to 15 months to complete is $10,000.

Most schools in the western states make you sign a contract that you will pay the full amount whether you complete the program or not.

You might find a massage therapist to hire and give you pointers if this is just for personal use. You will more than likely have to pay them an hourly rate of $65 to $130.

My daughter tried to do it on the cheap, but had to go to a program and it cost her a minimum of 10 thousand bucks.
