I am an adopted child. Not once but twice I have been adopted by totally different families. Yes I have had many problems and still work through some of them on a daily basis. I have been abused in everyway possible and have abused myself as well. BUT, I have never wished that my biological mother had aborted me. I think you may need to do a little more research on this subject. Perfectly normal families have kids who have as many or more problems. You cannot base a hard upbringing for something like abortion. I agree that abortion should be available for rape wictims, incest cases, severe health problems for the mother to be ect. But the problem does not come down to pro choice, it comes down to better education on PREVENTATIVE choices. Of the thousand or so foster children my parents have had over the last forty years Hundreds have led productive lives and I speak for them and their children and grandchildren dont group us and say that abortion would have been a better alternative. Most of us appreciate life more than those with a silver spoon in their mouths.
