Is it that you just dont wash your hair or comb it an then your hair naturally forms into those long round clumps? that's just my theory. lol. I saw a women the other day with them and i was just wondering how they were....formed.

You wash your hair, and someone else combs and curls it in a special way.Clumps are not naturally formed.

well, your close.. you have to form it into the knotted strands as it grows.. and not washing it helps it to form better. after they are so long you can wash it.. but it does no good.. it still smells bad

Yeah, I have to agree -it does smell bad. My friend with dreads refuses to wet his hair. I think he washes his scalp though.
