If so, why do you believe we are?
If not, why do you believe we are not?
And ... what do you base your decision on?

When I say the "last days" ... I don't mean the end of the world, I mean the end of the Biblical age.

I believe with my whole heart that we are.

II Peter 3:3-4, TLB. "First, I want to remind you that in the last days there will come scoffers who will do every wrong they can think of, and laugh at the truth. This will be their line of argument: ‘So Jesus promised to come back, did He? Then where is He? He'll never come! Why, as far back as anyone can remember everything has remained exactly as it was since the first day of creation.'"

I John 2:18, TLB. "Dear children, this world's last hour has come. You have heard about the Antichrist who is coming—the one who is against Christ—and already many such persons have appeared. This makes us all the more certain that the end of the world is near."

Matthew 24:14, NIV. "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."(THERE ARE VERY FEW PLACES IN THE WORLD WHO HAVE NOT HEARD ABOUT JESUS)

Matthew 24:23-24, NIV. "At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!' or ‘There He is!' do not believe it. For false Christ's and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible."

Matthew 24:29-30, NIV. "Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory."

II Timothy 3:1-5, NIV. "But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them."

Daniel 12:4, TLB. "But Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal it up so that it will not be understood until the end times, when travel and education shall be vastly increased!"
(IT IS UNDERSTOOD BY MANY AND IS NO LONGER SEALED UP)

Luke 21:25-26, NIV. "There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken."

The world has gone mad, disasters are increasing, earthquakes are daily, there is so many murders etc..everything has increased so much that no one save this world..no one except the soon return of our Lord and Saviour.

Jesus' words are not the only signs given for the time of the end. There are other prophecies. Jesus' was aware of this. Your first list is fully covered in 2 Timothy 3. The signs given by Jesus were of things that occurred naturally. So what then did he mean? There had to be some difference. There is. There has been a dramatic increase in all these things since the moment Jesus ascended his throne in heaven in 1914. The signs Jesus gave were also a twofold prophecy. It concerned the destruction of Jerusalem as well as the time of the end. In 66 C.E. The Roman army marched on Jerusalem but instead of attacking, they merely camped on the land outside the city and then withdrew. No one has ever understood this. Those who remembered Jesus' words, "When you see the abomination of destruction standing on holy ground, flee to the mountains," The land outside the city walls was considered "holy". Many people left the city and fled into the nearby mountains. Four years went by. It is quite possible that some became restless and tired of living in primitive conditions, returned to the convenience of the city. After 4 years the Romans returned and attacked the city. They killed most of the inhabitants and took the rest as slaves. Only those who had obeyed the words of Jesus survived. How can we flee to the mountains today? Please read the 4th chapter of Micah. Then look for the organization that is being taught Jehovah's ways, beating its swords into plowshares and learning war no more.

The Bible says no one will know. Spose there might have been a reason that was left in there. We are to live as if it was all going to end tomorrow every day but we are told we will not know. That is a prescription for living life more abundantly and puts your thoughts and actions in the right perspective for living a Godly life. To thwart this perspective with contemplation of when it will end is a waste of potential growth time by speculating on things u will not know and can not find out. In short toying with this subject is plating into the Devils hand. So stop doing it and especially do not get others involved in this waste go do some random acts of kindness, pray, read your Bible on how to act and think, and then try to do it.

Well, I believe that we are.
The Apostle Paul writes of being in the last days, and that was quite some time ago. So we're in the "last of the last" days, so to speak.
It would not surprise me if this generation saw the return of Christ... the world has certainly gotten bad enough. Then again, I suppose it could get worse.

God bless.

i do believe in Christ ,since His Crucifixion the count down
have been started,to the last days, that is a spiritual reality
we can not deny, nor can escape, whats done its done, the scriptures says it all,is just a certainty that comes from within
our spirit, that let each and every one of us certainly identify
the signs of times, but in the existence of God,"1 year can be a thousand years, and a thousand years as well can be one year"
what matters then is to live day by day, because the exact moment,no body and no one can determine that!

There is a religion taking over that believes they are the true religion, and they tax unbelievers called jizyah tax. If you do not convert or pay the tax they cut your head off. The Bible talks about Christian who will be beheaded for their faith in Christ.

So I would have to say we are getting closer.

And the Bible says unbelief will become very large, just look at your answers for proof of this.

OF COURSE YOU ARE IN YOUR LAST DAYS!!!
(everyone is in their last days)

not the world going to shrink or so but you should take your life as a plentiful one and live everyday as it was the last. I don't think a "World End" is on sight but when thinking about all the things we can do on here and the little time we have to its pretty similar to it! :D

(edit) Biblical age? I don't really understand that... as other main religions the biblical doctrine (and so for the new testament) has many things to say in our times, so its message isn't obsolete. I think the flux of believers in one faith is like waves, in some epoch is on high tide and in other is on low tide, like a cyclical system

we can't say these are exactly that these ara last days because we don't know when we leave this world.By seeing the dramatically changes in nature we tense to feel that these are last days. But jesus said some signs that has to complete, then anti christ should come to this world and he should rule this world like that so many incidents should happen, but my suggestion is that don't think all this things just prepare urself be ready for jesus arrival.

There are proofs all around us? Too many to say it is just this, let me name a few; Population growth, pollution of land and rivers and seas, earthquakes, storms, increase in violence on the earth, increase in wars til we are looking at a world war III, sexual immoral, atheists, agnostics, homosexuals, all increasing.
People that hate Christians for no good reason, and if you want the biggest reason I know of is America creating Aids, and purposefully giving it to 75,000 men women and children in Africa as a test by the U S government as a war killing device by the world Heath Organization, and then trying to cover it up by saying it was the judgment of God on homosexuals, and our government was giving aids to homosexuals to start the spread of the disease in American health clinics which started in San Fransisco first then New York and Los Angeles
