Depending on how fast your hair grows dreads can take years to grow. That's why most people who have them actually have doll hair (fake hair extensions)
My hair took about two years to get to a decent length for dreads, and these were short dreads at that

there gross i saw a man with them they were soo long and thick they were down to his backside tey looked soo colo. but arnt they like all yucky and yuck ?"? and dirty and haha my guinea pig get those when i dont brush her hair or give her a hair cut so .. you know wont take that loong haha happy dreadlocking =] xx
