Girls always seek the rough and tumble guy who's been in every jail cell, and bar fight. When she secretly wants a sweet and caring man who knocks her off her feet romantically. How on earth is this carwreck of an idea ever get in their heads? What is the best solution? If maybe a guy or two out there have all the right answers to this life long dillemma PLEASE let me know!!

Well, it's fairly simple actually. Subconsciously, girls really want a challenge. They want to make that bad guy into a Prince Charming, they don't just want to start with and keep that Prince. Any guy experienced in dating will probably tell you, what you need is confidence and challenge- the confidence that you will get the girl, but the challenge that is the lack of desperation on your part.
I for one am a nice guy, I really just never get the girls no matter how hard I try. Why? Well, other than the fact it's hard to change my ways, I'm just nice- and available. I'm no challenge, and I have nothing to fix. Therefore I do not fit the bill of 90% of girls that want that fixer-uper. The only problem is, once the girl fixes the guy- it's over. It's kind of the polar opposite of the "therapist" type guy- That "therapist" type guy being the one that is never happy unless you are unhappy and he's helping you.

Haha this is a common but unexplained question that guys ask all the time. I'm one of those girls that is attracted to the bad bay thing. So maybe I can help. See girls say they want a prince charming and some girls do, but most girls really want a bad guy. To me, dating a bad guy gives me excitement. And I love that excitement. Prince charming gets really boring at times. We want fun and excitment. Even though that fun and excitement causes arguments and disagreements and whatever else. But we'll deal with all that to get the fun and excitement. And don't get me wrong prince charming is great, but is boring after so long.

Not all woman want prince charming.
I have learned that woman want to be with the rough and tuble guy but end up with the prince charming guy cause the prince charming guy will stay and help pay the bills.
The 'bad' guys never stay and never help pay the bills.

My only guess would be that, - thru the centruries and the hostile nature of humanity, with humans living in villages and the attacks of other neighboring groups, - the guy in the village that is meanest, bad-a$s is the one that can protect the family and or attack other neighboring villages and bring home food and plunder when the winter is harsh and food is scarce.
The 'protectors' have more kids, and pass on the this genetic dispostion of survive thru any means possible. Both to their boys AND girls. The boys for attacking and the girls, - like their mother that chose a guy like this.
I've always wondered myself, - when modern society breaks down, and we're all bunkered down in our houses and winter is coming, - do I make a treaty with my neighbor with -"you watch my back, - and I'll watch yours", - or do I eat him and take what ever else he has?

i have wandered that for a long time. i think i have an answer. good girls like bad boy cause they think that the can change them and make them into prince charming.

Its confidence bad guys have plenty of it and it attracts women.
They sound like fun and confident I am a girl but I wish I had more myself that's probably why I'm alone cause I'm a nice lady lacking confidence.

Girls want the dangerous types because daddy wouldn't like them---the thrill of the chase and the unknown---then they turn it around to the romantic side---look at my man--he's an angel. Men also do it---date a whore that does everything and everyone--then they turn it around and want to have a virginal wife to take home to mom. It's purely emotions and desire all rolled into one. Enjoy the chase and the fun---don't worry about it--try being a little dangerous too.---might increase your date list.

These girls are foolish. It is not bad to go for a guy who was once bad, but realized it, and now is good. The answer is these girls are bad and in this world, only few girls are good, the rest are bad .
