I have to unistall windows xp service pack 2 as it messes up my browser connections in IE6 and wont let me connect in the browser. Can I run internet explorer 7 in Windows xp service pack 1?

hmm...well I had to reformat my laptop and then I had SP2 in before...(and IE7 and windows media player 11) downloaded it again and then it messed up my browser and I couldnt connect to net until I unistalled it!

No, you must have SP2 to download IE7.

You have to install SP-2 for IE-7,
as it is in requirments of IE7
