I have 2 burmese kittens, the eldest learnt how to open the doors in the house and now the youngest one has copied, i cannot escape even for 2 minutes. anyones elses cats do this??

Yes. There are cats who learn how to open the doors. But you can lock the door, right? My cat used to open the doors, so I always had all the doors open but the front door. Well, my apartment is rather small, but anyway...

When I start pouring a bowl of cereal, my cat knows that the milk comes next. She is on me before I even get the milk out of the fridge. I only give her a tiny bit since I know it's not good for her. I usually warm it a little in the microwave first and she dances at my feet while it's running. As soon as the beeper goes off, she runs to her feeding spot. Sometimes she doesn't even drink it. It seems as if she just likes going through the motions. Gotta love 'em!

I have a very long cat who, when we were living in a place where the door led outside (we live in an apartment-style condo building now) we'd always have to remember to lock the screen in the summer time, or he'd stand up, open the door, and let himself out. At that point, the door would be unlatched, so the other two would follow him out.

We adopted two girl Tabbies cats six years ago,there very clean and good but my cat Lucy
if I go into the bedroom and try and shut the door, the door wont click shut and Lucy follows
me into the bedroom she butts the door with her head,I cant keep her out, not like I want to I love her.I know what you mean.

Yes my cats can open doors and pull clothes off the radiators and sleep on them

Mine does as well, though she is only a moggy. Trying to teach her to put the kettle on and do some ironing. No luck yet.
Although she only opens doors when she is bored or hungry, doesn't want to know the rest of the time.

Almost all of my cats have done this... I've come to learn to remember to close the doors and lock them behind myself... I have found her outside many many times and wondered how she got out, but it wasn't till I set the video camera up and seen for myself the sneaky feline escaping the home life..LOL

The cat where I work can do it. Kind of nice in the summer he can let himself out whenever he wants! If it is the screen door he even lets himself back in too!

Are these cats from Earth that can open doors? I have never heard of a cat opening the door. My cat can't WOW, must be cats from Mars or something.
