i have a brother that hits me all the time for no reason and now im in 12 and he is 16 my parent don't care any more.what should i do?????

Don't get mad, get even! Do it now while you are still underage because when you and he turn 18, it becomes assault and that is illegal. Find ways to mess with his stuff in his room, find ways to annoy him and out smart him. Be sneaky about it because you don't want to get caught because he will find a way to get you back. If it is too much for and you don't want to fight back, then I would go to the teacher, school counselor, principal or call child protective services and they will protect you. You must follow through with this because it will just continue if you don't. If your parents won't do anything, you have too. Child protective services is in the phone book. Tell them that you are being abused by your older brother and I guarantee you that it will stop.

You know that this is considered domestic violence in my state...so you have a case for calling the cops and reporting it if you feel scared enough, or feel threatened enough. Have you tried talking to your school counselor? Your area might also have a crisis hotline where you can call and ask for help too...I know that sometimes this is normal for siblings to fight, to hit--I wouldn't recommend you hitting him back, especially since domestic violence laws would mean he could also counter your charges of abuse with charges of his own--against you, if you are hitting him back even! It sounds unfair, but in my state, that is how it is....
If you are in danger, if you feel scared, if he is leaving marks on you--you have the right to press charges, even at the age of 12....

Have your parents seen him hit you.? And still do nothing.??
A good person would tell you to tell a teacher or a cop or call 911 when he does this.
But you are talking to me and I will tell the next time he comes after you, you grap the bat or stick you have hidden and you start to swing and do not stop untill you make contact. Go for the knees.
When he stops crying or seeing stars you tell him the next time he trys to hit you, you are going to aim for his head.
Dont forget to hid the bat or stick or he might use it on you.

look this is the only way, you are a girl and he is an insecure teenage boy, what you need to do is take a frying pan to his face, and leave plenty of marks, but before you do it warn everyone in the house for about a week that your going to blow up if he persists then bam wack him, he wont touch you again, if he does up the punishment, act now before he gets out of hand

Get a can of mace. Next time he hits you, spray him with mace. He'll get the message and back off.
