I was doing one of my many stores I have for my advertising and marketing job. The week just began for my company and I was about to do my first store. Anyway, this much bigger man became very impatient with the pharmacist and attempted to shove the customer he was talking to out of the way. The woman there with her child did not back down and ended up getting battered. My question is, if one is so impatient, why attack another person? Especially when they have a child with them? Why would a man who is bigger than many and definately stronger batter her, a stranger, in public in front of her child? What is going through the mind of somebody like that? Don't they know God?

Well, the manager had me get behind the counter and sit there as I was the only one there besides the staff and them. The police were called both by me and the staff. They locked everyone into the store, and wouldnt open the doors until the police came. He did get arrested for battery after I told the police what I saw.

I would have been upset too,probably even would've went after the low life,I tell ya the world we live in today is just plain crazy! I am trying to wait patiently for the sweet Lord too rescue me from this aw-full hell!!! God Bless you.

That was a horrible thing to witness and i too would be upset. Did anyone report this to the police? was the poor woman OK? and how was the child? look you have been through something stressful and you have the right to feel upset and express your feelings. I can not tell you why on earth someone could do that to another person. I don't think anyone can. Unfortunately there are some very misguided and angry people in this world. take time out to talk to people about how you feel. If you are having a lot of trouble coping then perhaps seek counselling. You have seen a very violent act and may be suffering from post traumatic stress. I always find that following up to find out if the victim is OK helps but in this situation it may be hard to.
I hope you feel a bit better soon.
maybe go out a do something really nice for someone to counteract the evil acts of that man.

Really it was a very bad behaviour on the part of the impatient man. He should not have done this. It is because of the fact that he was not brought up in a good family environment. He was a bad natured man. On the other hand he should have proved himslef as an educated person. Should have behaved with t he woman with a calm mind. As I have said he was not brought up in the good family environment as such he did not know as to how to respect a respectable women. In muslim society we pay a great respect to ladies. We respect hem as they are our mothers, We respect them as they are our sisters and even wives. So it is the difference of society and religions differences which affected his mind. Good Luck.

Your pen name is "proud muslim" what does the korran say on this issue? What does islam tell you about people who abuse their power. I dont know what the korran has to say about it, but i know the judeo-christian veiw is that some people are bad. That is a fact of life. However, by being the better person we can strive to make this world a more pleasant place.
I do not agree with your veiw point of asking the question "dont they know god?" You should recognize that god is a fictitious entity created to mask humanities ignorance of scientific fact.
You must acept that some people experience things differently than you and you must work hard to convince others, peacfuly at that, that your pacafistic veiw is better.

This should have upset you, I would have been upset. But you can not blame his behaviour on not knowing god. People that 'know god' can act or behave or commit crimes (and do) same as people that are atheists. Everyone on this earth has a responsibilty to act like a decent human being no matter what their beliefs.

because he is stupid, think about it by doing what he did he end up losing more time
or maybe he was someone that just come out of jail and want to return because he could not live outside
I understand that experience can make you disappointed in humanity just give yourself the excuse that he is on drugs
That will make you feel better (because to me that can be the only correct explaination)

You should have been upset you should have called the police and tried to get security for the woman and her child after all they were defenseless.I dont recall you saying anything was done about this incident.People are very cruel and unintelligent in this day and age!

You should be upset. Some people have temper problems and some people have a problem with being dominate over another human being. It makes them feel powerful and better about themselves.

A man who needs to be in control & does whatever he has to do to maintain it. Feeling in control helps him feel better about himself. Usually people who feel inferior or self loathe feel the need to be aggressive & controlling. What a horrible thing to witness & a more horrible ;thing to experience for that poor child & mother.

what does god have to do with this? didnt mohammed know god and he did unsavory acts same as moses and many other people of religion just cause you think you know god doesnt make you a good person
