Depends on the animal and the forest.
For some I think it would be really difficult and for a few really easy... to find food, shelter, water and a mate.
For some I would imagine they are constantly under stress because they know there are predators out there looking for them... how can they ever really relax?
Same for the predators... constantly searching for food, maybe they'll eat today, maybe tomorrow.
Animals have to be really smart and have to learn quickly what is good to eat and what is dangerous... who is a friend and who isn't.
That said, I'm a little jealous (stress the word "little") that those critters don't have to worry about bills or taxes or making money or being on good terms with everyone all the time or waiting in lines for silly things for most of their life or wasting valuable time being unfulfilled in lousy jobs or being disappointed with the rest of their own species.
Animals get up when there is light (unless they are nocturnal) find food, groom, try to stay alive today and when the sun goes down find a safe place to sleep with their family or mate.
Just my thoughts.

The life of animals in forest is quite natural since they are designed for each other. If too much of human intervention is there, the life there too gets disturbed.
There is a sort of balance in the ecology between the various animals and their habitat, which needs to be preserved.
