Which is better?

Personally, I wouldn't own a projection (after years of servicing them), but if you must, get the Sony. They are quite simply, better. Both are pretty reliable, but I think the Sony will be more pleasing in the long run due to it's superior picture processing. One measure of an HD capable set is how they look when upconverting a low def signal. Watch an NTSC signal on it and see how it does. Many cheaper sets fall short when upconverting.

Coz it is one time investment and then u will not change it after a long time and if u want better screen go in for sony and quality then one an only sony
panasonic is also not bad
that is equally good
but i recommend sony
if 500 $ is problem then go in for panasonic
