judging by your past questions you have a five year old mentality yourself. Go ahead and tell your kid hes worthless and means nothing at all. Go ahead and tell him to hurt others and take what he wants if hes higher on the evolutionary ladder. Go ahead and tell him human life means nothing at all so murder isnt realy a crime. Go ahead and posien your kid. Go ahead a drive him into depression and suicidal tendencies. Your kid will be in the news just like the boys from Columbine.

Good question.

YES! You should. You didn't ask "should I read it to him/her at 5 and demand comprehension?" Studies have shown that simply having many books around the house is more likely to influnce your kid to read later on in life than how often you read with them at that age. What's more, having it around makes it more likely for your child to pick up the book when they're ready for it.

If your five year old can read it... I suggest Dr. Seuss: The Lorax.

Also, "On Aggression" is really good for later...
