me and my boyfriend broke up a little over a week ago because his ex is claiming that her baby is his. i am totally in love with him and want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with him, but now he wants to try to make it work with this girl if the baby is his, which we wont know for another 2 weeks, and im torn apart by this. what do i do? do i wait for him? how am i expected to throw away my feelings for him while knowing that he is trying to make something work with another woman? how can i be expected to deal with knowing that the one im in love with is with another woman?? help, please

I think you've answered the question - you want to spend your life with him - wait the two weeks and see what the outcome is. If he's the dad, you have a decision ahead of you.

You two need to go on the maury povich show seriously.
If he is this baby's father he will need to be with and support that family. However, this does not mean he should leave you either. He's probably just really stressed right now.. at least he's trying to be a good father. :) Sorry, but that's all i can think of to say.

Personally i think that you should not wait for him because he's gonna have a kid and if the kid is really his then i guess you cant stop him. Coz a kid means responsibilities and lots of them. But you could also talk try and talk to him about what you fell about all this and see how he responds. If he's ready to talk you can base your descision on what he says. You Love Him and it will be hard for you if you two are not together.It will take time to get over it but it will happen.

It sounds to like he don't really love you. if he did he wouldn't even have considered getting back with this other woman, he don't need to be in a relationship with her to make sure his baby is taken care of, its just an excuse to get back with her. don't waist you time with him. If things didn't work out the first time around what makes him think its gonna work out now.

I am a guy and was in his shoes...we broke up and didn't get back together...I begged later but she was already in another relationship...it hurts but it happened this way for a reason...just need to to what is right for you...I am sorry for putting her thru that...wish I could erase it but can't so I lost a really good friend/lover because I was selfish...it sucks but with time things heal...you just need good friends around you...
