So 2 years ago I was in a very serious relationship with a man, it was wonderful. He's a single dad with full custody and I'm a single mom with full custody. Our children loved eachother and everything was perfect. We got engaged, I got pregnant (on accident), it was a great thing.. We were so excited about the baby. I ended up losing the baby and we started falling apart. We were both very sad and not communicating at all. We ended up breaking up in a very horrible fashion, I was devistated. And he hurt me horribly. I haven't gotten over him, although I have tried to move on. 2 weeks ago he popped back into my life after 2 years of not talking. The connection was instant, it was like no time had passed and it was wonderful. Now we're talking about getting back together but I'm really scared. I'm afraid that he's just doing this out of some sort of guilt or sense of responsibility to make it up to me. Do men do things like that, or am I just freaking out and being insecure?

u need to figure out the cause of your break up in the first place. was it because of losing the baby, where after both of u, due to the loss of the baby, had to cope with the grief differently and ended up falling apart?

you are not wrong to be feeling insecure or scared. Take yr time. Find out the cause of the break up, talk to him about your fears. And also, talk to your children about it. Ask for their opinions. U may get some very sound advice from them. If a person is sincere, u will be feel it. So theres no need to rush. spend time together as friends, feel confident before u agree. all the best =)

Whooooaa! Pump the brakes girl. You guys need to have a long talk about what happened before that caused all the nastiness. Second chances are great, but you gotta know what ground each of you stands on, especially if you guys got these children involved. If the breakup went down like that, you have to work through that first, before you can move forward, because good guys don't play that way, but it sounds like you guys had some real bad issues to deal with due to the baby, so maybe the 'baggage' is a lil heavier than usual. Maybe look into some counseling if your really interested in trying again.

First, let me say I'm very sorry for your loss. I also lost a child. It was VERY hard on our relationship. He never even acknowledged there was a problem until almost a year later. Yes, men do things like that. They just don't think about things in the same way we do. If you really love this man, get back together with him, but go as slow as you can get yourself to go. Make sure you set aside a time with him to talk about what happened and what you would both do differently if something horrible happens in your lives again. If you don't hear VERY good things in that conversation, please, consider moving on.

Even if you two get back together you will still remember that incident, and he will have to prove it to you over and over again. It will either end up in ruins again or he will do it unconditionally.

Beside that I am also trying to get over an ex and just when I get the courage to she waltz into my life again. I am starting to think this is some sort of test cause this isn't the first time it has happen. Many other things has happened the same way.

Overall, just ask yourself if you find yourself happy'ER without him or not.

"confused..."---- Dont let the EX-FACTOR get you down.

First of all---- LOVE passes through all mediums of time.

If it's there, and if it's strong enough---- You can Relive it OVER and OVER again

BUT.... You need to see exactly WHAT he wants out of this "Second chance"

Ask Yourself: HAS he REALLY COME BACK for LOVE?

You're definitely freaking out. Guys who are feeling guilty buy you flowers and chocolates. They don't waltz back into your life and want to get back together.
