I guess it depends on your definition of "good." Studies have found that taking in a small to moderate amount of caffeine before and during studying actually helps us retain what we learn. Caffeine, being a stimulant, is also helpful in the treatment of hyperactivity as it affects sufferers of the disorder in the opposite manner it does others.
As for tea, it has less caffeine than coffee and new studies have shown that green tea contains antioxidants. Tea is also used in the treatment of diarrhea, along with bananas, rice and applesauce (pediatricians refer to this as 'The B.R.A.T. Diet'.) I'd like to point out, though, that anything containing caffeine will act as a diuretic so be sure to drink plenty of water so your tissues stay hydrated.

Tea is full of antioxidants which protect cells. Researchers believe they help guard against heart disease and cancer. Tea may also help prevent bone loss and tooth decay. It's more beneficial if you drink it black without milk or sugar or even better green.
Coffee has recently been found to possibly reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. It may also reduce the risk of Parkinson's, colon cancer, cirrhosis, gall stones, depression and more. Just don't drink too much. Excessive amounts of caffeine aren't good for anyone.

In some ways.
The biggest advantage I know of is for weight control.
Caffeine helps inhibit an enzyme called phosphodiesterase (PDE), which is good if your trying too loose weight.
Cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP) is a messenger derived from ATP. Camp is what signals and starts fat loss and is regulated by PDE. So the more Caffeine you have, the less PDE you have, and the less PDE you have, the more Camp you have, and the more camp you have, the less fat you have.
But most people know caffeien helps you loose weight (heck since ephedrine was banned, most diet pills just became caffeine pills. ) You were probably looking for some other effect.
P.S. Amphetamines, or eating less do the job too

tea is good for your health..it provides antioxidents and is free of calories until you add things to it but coffee doesn't really have any health benefits, but it doesn't have any calories..so you can have all the coffee you want and there won't be any consequences

They're ok. They have no nutritional value. Some are touting tea, especially green tea, as being healthy because of "antioxidants." I believe that to be a scam.
