I would tell him not to bother coming back when he is done there. If he is breaking promises now and you were looking foward to going out..that is not nice. But he took it a step further.. you have the right to say 'I personaly don't want to go there', and in a healthy relationship.. that would be where a compromise is made... and him running off and going where he wants to is not compromise.. he is putting you in the position of having it his way or no way... yeah, tell him not to come back again

would go to the sleezy pub with him and find an excuse to sneak away. He is the best guy cos in most cases they would rather go there with the 'boys' tag along and meet his freinds. Don't sound like you hate the places he goes to. Dinner is more for you and taking him to this pub is the least you can do.

why are you going at midnight? Did something not go right? If something came up, give him a break. If he just forgot or was being lazy you can say something to the effect of, "That's not very thoughtful of you." Say it kind of Kindergarten teacherish.

I'd say don't let the door hit you on the way out and don't bother coming back.
He doesn't sound like he cares what you think, so why stay. He will only let you down time after time.

I would realize that leaving me at home and going out alone has been his plan all along, I played right into his hands, and when he returned from his outing I would no longer be around to play into his hands again.

I'd say, "go then, but don't expect to find me waiting for you when you get home." oh and what would I think of him? I'd call him butt wipe on the way out the door.

well yes....maybe finances forced him to second best...but then he mustnt promise if he cant commit to it! Dont promise if you cant deliver! I would tell him 'cheers' & enjoy it! After that i'll do things on my own & tell him i wanted to go by myself!

Either he wants to hang out with his bud or he doesn't want to pay..either one. You have every right to be mad.
