I never take them out because I can't see anything without them and just laziness. I drive cars around all day at work so i can't function w/o them and i don't own any glasses. I've been sleeping with them on since I got them over 2 years ago and never had any problems accept short term irritation. Just how bad is it for my eyes?

If you wear your lenses over night you are pre disposing youself to develop cataracts, which will or can permanately destroy your vision. You could also develop a bacterial infection and go blind or have yo have your eye taken out. Any optometrist will tell you to never wear them over night, it really is terrible for your eyes.

I think you are playing with fire here. Bacteria and protein and other mucusy gunk will build up on the lenses, and this stuff, being not as slippery as etafilcon or methafilcon, is slightly more abrasive to your cornea. Corneal abrasion is insidiously damaging; it can lead to blindness, and predisposes you to certain infections including that nasty Acanthamoeba or whatever it's called.
That said, use your own judgement or get a pair of glasses to give your eyes a break.
