You need a CF (compact flash) card now a SD card like the previous answer stated.
You can get them anywhere. Try amazon.com. A 1GB card or a couple 512MB cards will give you a lot of photos. Although, they do have a 2GB card for only $35.
You don't need a high speed CF card for the S series. I'm pretty sure they'd still work. Those are mainly for the dSLRs.
You can also get cards at BestBuy, etc., but unless they are on sale, you'll pay a lot more than off the internet.

Don't buy memory cards from eBay. The Bay is full of rip-offs and counterfit cards. Any drug store, big box retailer, or WallyWorld will have CF cards at a reasonable price. Don't pay over $45 for a 1gb.
