It kind of just sounded like she was busy..if you have her phone number I would suggest giving her a call or text sometime. I'd wait like a day or two though..Just, feel good that you had to courage that most guys have to not play games and be direct. thats a good thing..and she knows the door is open!

She sounded nice enough but not interested AT ALL!
NO TRANSLATION NEEDED!
YOu were not pushy
Glad you finally asked her out
guess she was thinking that her bio clock is ticking and that she already spent alot of college waiting for you to make a move and she does not have that much time to wait inbetween moves.
The phone thing seemed like a HUGE lie
(still a polite one) in this day of cellphones (and contracts) she would have a new one before sundown (she will have to pay a bill for it if she talks or not, so I doubt the would be without a phone for longer than a day or so and she could have given you the number and THEN told you that you would not be able to talk to her for a few days or she could have taken your number and called YOU!) Either way she didnt and there is some reason for this.
Leave it alone
Keep the past where it was because the energy you are wasting on this chick you could be giving to someone else that will reciprocate!

Dont take this the wrong way....but the whole catch up over coffee one of these nights lines never ever works. She sounds like she is just being nice, if she really wants something other than friends or acquaintances she will let you know. The more pushy you are in bringing up nothing but meeting will not help your cause at all.

She probably thinks you're a cool guy but I'm not going to lie...she's just not that into you. If she was she would have given you her number (the phone thing sounds like an all out lie to me) and she didn't seem too interested in meeting either (notice that she avoided the meet up almost completely). Looks like a convo full of excuses on her end. Maybe you will prove me wrong but I doubt that anything will ever materialize between the two of you. My best advice to you is to move on.

I've caught up with heaps of guys I went to school with that I had crushes on and it was just like seeing an old friend to me, like a member of the family. She sounds interested in meeting up so you should at least be pleased about that. See how it goes from there. Tones of voice and body language are much easier to read into than IM!

Doesn't sound too off of her - she gave you an e-mail but the phone thing could mean that she actually has someone else and wants to keep in contact in a way that her other guy won't find out about.

you were great. you were perfect in fact. but i dont actually think she is interest in that way coz she sugguested email. she sounds like she is too nice to say no. you were great , you gave her the easiest opportunity to start a conversation about what yous could do to hang out and make plans but sounds like she sort of (in a nice way) shut you down. how did you feel after this convo? obviously a little shut down or something??? otherwise you would be asking on yahoo answers

the entire swim component is somewhat random so it per chance authentic. i don't like giving out my determination until eventually i extremely recognize the guy properly. and also you probably did not sound pushy to me. If i became a dude.. next time you both are on target do not write first see what she does. If she's extremely into you she'll go with to renowned the way your are.

i think she might be interested...she did give an alternate way of communication (email) after she said that her phone was broken. you werent too pushy...maybe set up to get coffee or something (seemed like she would like it) and then maybe from there you can see if shes really interested. good luck! ♥

Sorry honey... I think she's blowing you off... if she really wanted to pursue a relationship with you, she would have given you her phone number. After all, her phone won't be broken forever.... (a broken phone is a poor excuse anyways)
Oh well, there is other fish in the sea... Good Luck and Best Wishes....
