Do you remembe the event in Noah's ark where it rains 40 days and 40 night..The rain filled even the highest mountain, that means wow water anywhere..the question is, where did those water went, dont tell it just evaporated or it just disappear like that. but well lets say God is powerful, let's base it scientifically, does anyone know where those volume of water went after the flood....

Sand dollars have been found in many of the Earth's mountain peaks. And they are a form of marine life. I have found them myself, back when I used to climb mountains. The flood is fact and not fiction. SO WHERE DID THE 40 DAYS OF RAIN COME FROM? WHO PROPHESIED THAT IT WOULD COME?
The rains went back to the oceans that they were absorbed from. You miss key questions in the story. The one's about the power of God, and God's measures to spare human life.

Well what you have to accept is that that flood was only in the known world. It did not reach Egypt for a start. Otherwise many of the pyramids would have been destroyed or at least carry water marks which they don't.
Also if you have ever travelled through the land where the Bible was supposed to have arisen, you will find that mountains are an overstatement. They have very few mountains as such and Sinai,(show me where that is on the map!) The mountain that is believed to be Mt Sinai ( no one is certain, is only a steep hill that climbs 300feet. So this mighty volume of water called the great flood was not as vast as one is supposed to believe. Much of the flood seeped into underground water courses that abound throughout the desert and the barren land once known as Caanan.
I am often amused by the depiction of certain animals all looking over an ark in complete placidity Giraffes elephants tigers lions etc. Non of which reside anywhere near the place where Noahs ark supposedly was built. I have no doubt that there was an ark that was built by some aspiring shiprite with the ability to see a storm brewing. But taking on two of all creatures and getting the diet right and stopping motion sickness I doubt it. Some one once made a remark that Noah chucked all the animal crap over the side of the ark, and a few hundred years later it was discovered by Christopher Columbus!

Yes I do. The forty days and Nights of rain was the length of time it took for the water level to start the ARK floating. They waters keep rising until the highest mountains were 15 cubits underwater. and maintained that level for150 days before starting to subside which took ten months.and then longer before the land was dry enough to start letting plants grow again.
The description says that it was mostly rain . a possible global warming and the flooding or overflow of underground water that added its share of water.
Wither this was an actually complete world flood or just one of the periodic flooding of the lands around the middle east(their known world) is whats up for debate.
The excess water would have drained back into any underground caves and reformed water tables from which it was raised. The same thing happens in any desert areas . They can have a heavy rain with flash flooding one day and the next the water is absorbed back into the ground leaving it dry.

Before Noah's Day it had never rained, and the scripture says that When God created the earth he separated the waters from the waters. See Genesis 1:6 Now considering the weight of water 8,44 lbs per gallon then it could very easily cause the ground to sink in spots or valleys and cause mountains to raise higher, So if the mountains were not as high before the flood the water could account for their height now, also this would explain where the water went.

Some people believe that the water is in the oceans and the land was re-arranged to be above sea level.
Personally, I think it's more likely that the story of Noah's flood is a wee bit exaggerated.

The Noah flood was likely a regionalized flood (probably the same one as described in The Epic of Gilgamesh). It is not scientifically possible for the flood to have happened as the Bible describes.

It formed the oceans as we know them today.
It also was stored in the polar ice caps.
Plus, much of it did evaporate. That's was causes our weather today.
You know, before the flood, there was no rain. There was just a mist over the earth. Since it's likely that there was only one continent then, that mist didn't have to cover much area.

Apparently it is frozen at the poles. Hogwash, I say (and so do scientists).
