I'm a big baby, and didn't want to have them tatooed. I was so tired of drawing them on everyday. So I went. To my surprise there was no pain at all. It cuts my getting ready time in 1/2. Best thing I ever did. Make sure they don't pick a very dark color and tell them you don't want the color to go in deep. Lighter is better, you can always fill in at a later touch up appointment. And no my skin did not bruise at all. I live in NY, long island. Do you live close? I could recommed the girl who did mine. L & T salon in suffolk county long island. Her name is Lu

Without a doubt, different people feel pain to greater and lesser degrees. It's also true that different parts of the body are more and less sensitive. Areas that are fleshy (upper arm, calf, abdomen) tend to feel pain less than areas close to bone (an ankle, elbow, or the spine, for example). Some people will describe it as a hot scratching sensation while others will feel something more acute. Some people will wince and practice a breathing exercise to control the pain while others chat casually and even seem to doze. It's also remarkable how much of an effect your tattoo artist can make, both physically and mentally, on your experience of pain in the tattoo process.

My gransma tried to get a "beauty mark" tattooed on her face in the 50s and the artist told her when she got older the ink could break up and spread across her face. Have you ever seen a tattoo on an old person? She always says she's glad she didn't get it done. Because who knows what it would look like now. Just thought i'd give ya a heads up on tattos on your face. lol.

I never had one done. But I have a friend that did her eyebrows and eyeliner. Let a plastic surgeon do it. Yes it hurts and yes it bruises, but it depends on the person and what tolerance you have to pain. My friend's bruising was more to the brow, but swelling was to eyelid

Very similar to a tattoo. Slight burning but most places will numb ya pretty good with gels and if you choose to do a more sensative area like the lips, you can have a dentist numb your lips prior to procedure. Lasts for years and is well worth it. It also looks spectacular.
Just search out the right people. i.e experienced, licensed professionals.......
Good Luck.

results are not that permanent, pain is transient. it is not worth the cost, looks a little bit like a puppet
