Hey Black Nomad,

Of course you can prove it or disprove it. Look up the inventor of the TV. Then with Birth, Death, and Marriage Certificates as documentation prove that your relationship to him is solid. It is that easy. Except that it is only by Marriage.

“Zworykin had a patent, but Farnsworth had a picture..." from the first site - one of these is your grandpa's Brother's Wife's dad. So, show how you decend from a man that has not contributed to your gene pool. You are related to his kids maybe, but he is at best an in-law.

Sure I do, I am related to the guy who wrote Canada's constitution. It is in the Canadian Dictionary online. My best friends great great uncle was the banker killed by Billy The Kid. I think that if we dig back far enough we would all find someone famous for something.

Somehow I suspect you don't even know the name of the person who invented television.

Well technically, you arent related to him. Your great uncle's wife has no blood relation to you, even though she is your aunt, you are in no way kin to people in her family, only her kids.
