i got a 300 dollar cat tree for 60 bucks with shipping on Ebay. My cat loves it

We shopped around for a cheap cat condo for several weeks and simply couldn't find one. In doing research online however, we found several web sites that gave plans for making your own cat condo. You can buy these plans online for 5 or 10 dollars, but we just looked at a few online for free and came up with our own plan. We then got all the materials from local home construction sites and built a cat condo for literally less than $10. It took a couple of hours, but the cats love it, and it gives you a feeling of accomplishment you don't get by buying it from ebay.

Funny thing is that I bought my cats a really nice cat condo on line and they ended up playing in the cardboard box. So maybe skip the condo if you can't afford it a get a couple of those boxes that paper comes in for copy machines and cut some holes in them. Paper bags are irresistible too! For scratching I bought one of those cardboard things that just sit on the floor and the cats love it. You sprinkle it with cat nip and they go nuts.
