I have had brands like Heaven, Italia, Monte Cristo (not exactly cheap) and many others. I like the rum/cognac flavored on a good large cigar. But what is a good smoke for someone that cannot afford to run with the big-wigs? Just love the smell of cigars and cant get enough.

** Question is for those with an answer, not an opinion on whether smoking is good or bad. If you wish to express your viewpoint that smoking is bad, please move on to help someone else. And by cheap I dont mean a $2.00 cigar, I mean what is a good cigar at the low end? Not looking for something to "chomp" on. **

A lot of companies make something called 'mistakes' or 'unbanded' cigars. I know Perdomo makes their millenarios for Cigars International and they come out to about $2.50 a cigar, they're pretty cheap.
See if there are any good cigar stores around you and see what they offer for specials. A cigar store near where I used to live sold unbanded Baccarats for about $3 a stick. Just keep looking around and don't be afraid to buy some inexpensive sampler packs from some good, reputable cigar stores online. And keep notes so it's easier for you to remember what you liked.

To those of you that don't like smoking, who gives a F? Go mind your own business. It's a free country, go somewhere else if you don't like it and don't repress us because we do. You're not any better than us because you DON'T smoke, you tools.

There is no such thing as a good cheap cigar. You need to find another hobby. It looks like you are chomping on a big ol' nasty dog turd. Smells like it too.
