yummm, that food sounds good! so I would ask the airlines for their rules just to double check, but I would recommend taking the ingredients and making it fresh for your friend. Good luck with everything!

I work for an Asian based airline and the following is part of the quarantine regulations for entry into China
"Animals or plants, their products and other quarantine objects are prohibited from entry into China."
So if you do decide to carry any such items, it would be wiser to play it safe and declare it if questioned.

Don't carry them on, for good measure. After that, declare that you are carrying food when you get to China and hope the Chinese government doesn't take them from you.

i would check with your airline, myself i would bring the dry ingredients in your checked in baggage and buy the poultry over there even if it's duck, and make it with your friend, that way it will be at it's best fresh flavor. dont forget to take pictures with your friend making it & enjoying eating it. MEMORIES!. have a safe flight.

Ask the airline company or the airport. They should be able to help you or else consult your travel agent.

So you want to stink up the whole plane with curry chicken, like your body odor wasn't enough. I pity the people who have to set near you.

I highly doubt the TSA folks will let you bring food with you. I second the recommendation that you ship it instead.

I suggest packing the ingredients ( save for the perishables) so you can make it over there whenever you want.
